Gerardo Prieto se convierte en la voz de CAM en la Red. Este asturiano y alicantino de adopción es el responsable de mantener viva la conversación con la comunidad. Gerardo lleva ya casi 10 años trabajando en CAM. Ingeniero informático de formación, ha desarrollado su carrera en el Departamento de Desarrollo de Gestión, pero su inquietud por el mundo 2.0 le ha llevado a ser ahora el gestor de redes de la entidad financiera, tras haber actuado como formador de estos temas, tanto en CAM como en la Universidad de Alicante, y haber fomentado en su entidad el uso de herramientas tecnológicas ‘sociales’ y de open source como wikis, blogs y apis de servicios web reconocidos como Google Maps. En los próximos días CAM abrirá nuevos espacios para la participación, como este perfil en Twitter, dónde podrás informarte, conocer qué hacen, comentar lo que te preocupe… Y Gerardo pondrá ese toque humano tan necesario.

Caja del Mediterráneo keeps on working on Web 2.0. Concerning this, the important piece of news is that CAM has just named its community manager, Gerardo Prieto.

Gerardo Prieto will be the CAM voice in the Internet. Born in Asturias but living in Alicante, he is responsible of keeping alive the conversation with the community. Gerardo has been working for 10 years in CAM. He is still studying to be a computer engineer. He is developing his career in the Management Development Department, but his interest in world 2.0 has made him become the Network manager of the bank. He has been named because of his wide experience: he has been teaching about this topic, in CAM as well as at the University of Alicante, he has also encouraged the technologic tools use, as well as using wikis, blogs and well-known web services such as Google Maps. In a few days time, CAM will open new spaces for participation, for instance, the new profile in Twitter, where you will be reported about the situation, you could know what they do, whatever you are worried about… And Gerardo will be the so needed human being.
